Last Week to Win $1,100 Seat for High Society’s $20k GTD

Last week Sun City Card Club ran a very succesful multiday tournament, exceeding their $15k GTD with a prize pool of over $20k, with Andy Khatami being named tournament champion. I covered the final table on my twitter account, @elpasopokerblog, if you would like to see how the action went down. Hopefully I can find the time to write an article about this, because there were a few of El Paso’s best tournament players on this final table, as well as a couple of new faces who will likely become familiar faces in El Paso’s poker tournament scene. Also, I want to write an article about club owners playing in their own tournaments, while suggesting maybe they also play other club tournaments.

But before I get to those articles, I had to post about High Society’s $1,100 buy in tournament. All month High Society has been hosting satellite tournaments for this $20k GTD to First Place tournament. And that continues tonight.
